Dave has spent the past 15 years supporting the Sage Timberline Office Construction and Real Estate (now known as Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate) suite of products.  Prior to embarking on his consulting career he spent nearly 10 years in various accounting and financial roles in the Construction industry.

His years of consulting experience serving clients of all sizes in both the Construction and Real Estate industries have given him a unique perspective into the data and reporting needs of organizations of various sizes and complexities.

Dave has provided services ranging from system review, implementation, system design and training to programming and reporting.  Client engagements have ranged from hour-based to project-based arrangements.  His solid background in Accounting helps to provide the client with a solid partner – a partner well-positioned to maximize use all of the data available to each client.

Ruth A. Wakeman, CIA, CFSA, CRISC

Chief Data Utilization Officer

Ruth brings a diverse systems background to our clients.  She spent over 10 years providing critical Information Systems services and support, including application and report development, security administration, system administration, effective and efficient change management procedures, process improvement, and implementation and maintenance of effective management controls.

She has mastered Microsoft Access with over 25 years of experience – utilizing MS Access to analyze enterprise application data, correct data anomalies, and implement stand-alone and linked databases to accommodate business needs.

Leveraging an additional 10 years of experience in Internal Audit, Ruth has the ability to understand best business practices and then engineer, design, document and implement database/spreadsheet/reporting solutions for clients.

Bill Bauman, CPA

Software and CFO Consultant

Bill began his career with Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers) after graduating from Fordham University.  After five years as an external auditor, he went on to work for three local construction companies as their top financial executive for over twenty-two years.

He has been a Sage 300 CRE (Timberline) user since 1999 having implemented the software at his first construction company and significantly increasing its utilization at his other positions.  In addition to his Sage 300 CRE background, Bill is available for general accounting and software support, budgeting, job costing, contract reviews and claims assistance.  Maximizing profits is always key.  Trying to decide whether to rent, lease or purchase that piece of equipment?  He can help with that type of decision.

Construction is an extremely competitive industry and anywhere money can be saved is crucial.  He is well versed in cost control measures including banking and bonding, credit card fees, insurance and insourcing payroll.  Bill has many long-standing relationships with bankers, bonding and insurance personnel across New York.  He is experienced with employee benefits, maximizing return on investment to get the best for both the employer and employees which assists in workforce retention.  Bill was instrumental in the transition of a company from one generation to the next and was heavily involved in the potential sale of one business on two different occasions.
